Sr. Susan Greene, one of the first Focolare religious members in the U.S., left for heaven on April 17, 2020 due to the Coronavirus. It was impressive to discover so many beautiful episodes/experiences through so many messages that have arrived. Just 3 weeks before her death, she was connected via video conference with the Luminosa community. It was the first time for her to see many members of the community after many years of not being able to attend any events in person. Everyone’s joy was great, but nobody imagined that it would be the last time for many to see her.
On April 23, 2020 she was buried in the cemetery here in the Mariapolis Luminosa. We thank God for her life, a testimony of fidelity “to the charism of her order and to the charism of unity”.
